Dog Manners

Course Description:

This is a basic life skills course for adolescent and adult dogs to learn new foundation behaviors, manners, and impulse control. Socialization and group play will take place depending on the compatibility of each dog’s play style.

Behavior goals include: sit, down, stand, stay, recall (come when called), leave it, loose leash walking, and keeping feet on the ground (anti-jumping exercises).

Length of course: 4 weeks (50 minutes each week)

Cost: $100.

Number of students admitted: 6

Ages admitted: 5+ months old

Requirements: Proof of vaccinations

Materials for students to bring: six foot leash with collar or harness, training treats, and stuffed Kong or bully stick.
